Foreign debt surpassed $9b: CBI

TEHRAN – The latest report published by the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) puts the country’s foreign debt at $9.12 billion by end of the fourth month of the Iranian calendar year, Tir (July 22, 2017).

According to the report, foreign debt in Tir grew by $160 million in comparison to the end of the preceding Iranian month, khordad (June 21, 2017), when the figure stood at $8.96 billion, Tasnim news agency reported.
